About the Scholarship
All young people deserve the chance to achieve their best.
The Indigenous Football Scholarship (IFS) program celebrates the talents and strengths of young Indigenous people or groups who exhibit outstanding promise but who may lack the support and resources to fulfil their potential.
The scholarship includes funding up to $1580 to help children pursue their artistic or sporting dreams. The IFS program has been sponsored by Ramez Togany from RC Fire Consulting; a company based in Melbourne Victoria.

What are scholarships for?
The indigenous football scholarship category provides funds for up-and-coming young Indigenous athletes to help them successfully participate in football. Young people sometimes find it difficult to meet the ongoing and significant costs associated with participation at sporting competitions.
The funding can be used towards the cost of registration fees for a football program or to attend football camps and sports clinics run by C.C Futbol Academy.
Application Process
To apply for the 2025 Indigenous Football Scholarship (IFS) you need to submit an expression of interest, and an application will be emailed to you. You will be required to answer a range of questions.
There are 5 different sections that need to be completed. Completing them all gives you the best chance of winning the scholarship.
Section 1: Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, you need to:

Be of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander descent

Be aged between 8 and 17 years old at the time of submitting the application

Be living in Far North Queensland

Have a passion for football
Section 2: Your Details
These are just basic details about you and how we can contact you.
Section 3: About You
These are some short questions about you, your dreams and goals, and how the scholarship can help you reach your football dreams. We also need a photo with your deadliest smile.
Section 4: Photo and Media Consent
We need your permission to use your photo on social media and websites. If you are under the age of 18 you will need to get your application signed by a parent/guardian.
Section 5: Agreement
You will need to agree that all the info you are submitting is correct.
What is the assessment process?
Applications will be assessed by the sponsors of the scholarship, RC Fire Consulting. The assessor(s) will consider each application and how well it meets the above criteria. The panel may request further information or clarification during the assessment process. You will be notified in writing of the outcome of your application within two weeks of the closing date.
